Clay Sculpture - Tree
With my inspiration to what maintains our planet, I have chosen to understand the textures and shapes of a tree. I have studied trees and understood that their biomass consists of wood and leaves, which led me to my use of clay and sponge.
Perspective drawing - Fine-liner
The fine-line drawing on the left was done whilst on work experience with Allies and Morrisons as a task to understand the nearby site. The right was done on the balcony of Tate modern to fully comprehend the ever-evolving city of London.
Observational Drawing
Revit Mixed-Use building project and Process
This Design, Engineer, and Construct school project has been defined in-line with my client's vision of hosting exhibitions and meetings in the ground floor lobby space, as well as accommodating keyworkers on the 1st floor. Although not visually shown, this building has been thought through every sustainable feature, even considering a Passivhaus!
Allies and Morrison Pavilion
This pavilion was created whilst on work experience with Allies and Morrison, in-line with the idea of selling goods, as well as sheltering bike commuters as they locked their bikes. It was designed in accordance to the tight space offered on their site, affecting where the timber pillars lay.
Rough Drawing
This has been roughly drawn with the purpose of portraying, a diverse, conflicting, and broken dystopian mini world. The roots have progressed from bottom to top, emphasising the narrative of a journey, and story. This story would come from the utter blackness behind these roots, to which no one ever dares to discover.
Created with a fine-liner pen.
This is the first outcome, which came to life from my generation of ideas here on paper. My main focus was to generate a subject, assembled by text of words that arise what is happening to our climate. I gathered a focus group and we discussed that the bottle was the most dominating subject on the page.
Photography of Nature
I see taking photography of nature as an escape from society and use it to signify the 'more important' side of the world.
